Social & Behavioural Science

Qualitative and mixed-methods research on health behaviours, diagnostics acceptance, and ethical issues in health research.

Social and behavioural science research at BRTI addresses the human dimensions of health interventions. Studies include community research on HIV, child health, nutrition, and psycho-social support for orphans and vulnerable children.

The institute conducts qualitative research on diagnostics, ethical issues in health research, and behavioural interventions integrated into major trials such as CHIEDZA.
