Tuberculosis research at BRTI spans diagnostic evaluations, active case finding interventions, and treatment trials. Our dedicated TB laboratory at the National Reference Laboratory supports molecular diagnostics including GeneXpert testing.
The XACT-3 trial evaluates scalable active case finding for TB using point-of-care molecular tools, while our laboratory team participates in international external quality assurance through CAP and ZINQAP programmes.
